Job summary

CSL in Florida is seeking a Plasma Collection Technician to perform venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process while adhering to SOPs. You will set up donors, monitor during collection, and ensure donor safety and product quality.

Experience in a medical environment is preferred; California requirements are noted for CA centers; cross-training and bilingual skills may be required. This role is based on-site in Orange City, FL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• For Centers located in CA, must be state certified as CPT I or be a Registered Nurse in CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process in compliance with SOPs.
• Set up donor equipment, monitor during donation, and disconnect donors after collection.
• Evaluate donor vein performance and make adjustments to optimize donation time and safety.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system and document incidents.
• Respond to equipment alarms and donor issues, coordinating with the supervising staff as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are stocked and accessible.
