Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Plasma Donor Center Technician to efficiently collect plasma via pheresis, perform venipuncture and monitor the process per SOPs and FDA guidelines. You will train new donors, document results, and maintain equipment while ensuring donor safety and a positive experience.

The role requires a high school diploma, healthcare experience, and willingness to work per CA requirements if applicable. Protective gear and safety protocols are emphasized throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare setting experience preferred.
• State CA requirements may apply for phlebotomy or RN credentials.
• Willingness to adhere to SOPs, health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma from donors via pheresis and monitor process.
• Perform venipuncture and donor setup per SOPs and FDA guidelines.
• Monitor donors, respond to adverse events, and ensure donor safety.
• Record data in the donor information system accurately.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment, resolve alarms and issues.
• Educate donors about plasmapheresis and center policies.
• Keep work area clean and stocked with supplies; follow HSE/OSHA rules.
