Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect plasma from donors by performing venipuncture and monitoring the pheresis process in strict adherence to SOPs and FDA guidelines.

You will set up donors, monitor flow, record data in the electronic system with a PDA, educate donors about the process, handle alarms and equipment issues, maintain a clean, safe center, and support safety programs. Bilingual skills may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• External candidates: minimum 6 months experience as a phlebotomist; internal CSL employees may have DST training.
• Minimum 12 months of experience in a medical/healthcare environment preferred.
• Must follow SOPs and FDA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture to begin pheresis and monitor the donation.
• Set up donor, monitor process, and disconnect donor.
• Record incidents and donor data in the electronic system.
• Educate donors about the process and policies.
