CSL is seeking a plasma donation technician in Florida to perform venipuncture and pheresis procedures following established SOPs. You will set up donors, monitor during collection, and ensure donor safety while recording data in the donor information system.

The role requires attention to safety, equipment maintenance, and effective communication with donors. Some cross-training in other areas may be offered to support center needs.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a medical or health care environment.
• California-specific requirements: phlebotomy certification or RN license.

Responsabilités

• Perform venipuncture and pheresis following SOPs.
• Set up donor, monitor during pheresis, and disconnect donor.
• Educate donors on the donation process, policies, and fees.
• Monitor donor flow and evaluate vein performance to optimize donation time.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain clean work environment and adhere to HSE/OSHA policies.
• Respond to equipment alarms and donor concerns; escalate as needed.
• May cross-train in other areas to meet business needs.
