Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a Plasma Collection Technician in Michigan to perform venipuncture and pheresis procedures following SOPs. You will monitor the pheresis process, set up donors, and ensure donor safety while maintaining product quality.

Responsibilities include educating donors about the process, managing donor questions, and recording data in the donor information system. Cross-training and potential CA-specific requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• For Centers located in CA the following experience is also required: state certified as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I or current RN by the State of California.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for efficient collection of plasma from donors via venipuncture and pheresis.
• Perform pheresis procedure setup, monitoring and donor disconnect per SOPs.
• Ensure donor safety and product quality while expediting donation time.
• Educate new donors on therapeutic products, screening, tests, and center policies.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system and monitor donor flow on the floor.
