Job summary

CSL is seeking a Plasma Collection Technician to efficiently collect plasma from donors using pheresis, while ensuring donor safety and adherence to SOPs and FDA guidelines. The role involves donor setup, monitoring, venipuncture, and accurate data recording in the donor information management system.

The successful candidate will maintain a safe and clean work environment, troubleshoot equipment alerts, and collaborate with the team to create a positive donor experience.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy and donor care skills required in a medical environment.
• Ensure donor safety and comfort throughout the donation process.
• Record donor information accurately in our systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture to begin pheresis and monitor donor throughout procedure.
• Collect plasma via pheresis following SOPs and FDA guidelines.
• Monitor donor flow, respond to alarms, and coordinate with staff as needed.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and document incidents.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment and promote safety.
