Job summary

CSL is seeking an on-site Pheresis Technician in Florida to prepare the donor, donor area, and equipment for pheresis processing. The role includes monitoring donors, responding to alarms, and ensuring accurate data entry and safety protocols.

Responsibilities also cover maintaining equipment, documenting incidents with the PDA, and coordinating with supervisors to resolve donor flow issues. A high school diploma is required and prior medical environment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent education/experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains alertness to any donor reaction during or after the process and notifies appropriate staff.
• Records incidents and donor data using the PDA and links equipment to donors in the information system.
• Alerts Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensures accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and follows HSE and OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
