Job summary

CSL Plasma Center is seeking a Plasma Collection Technician to perform venipuncture and pheresis collection following SOPs in a Florida facility. You will monitor donors, educate them on the process, and ensure safety and compliance with FDA guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 12 months in a medical setting; California sites have additional certification requirements. You will use a PDA and electronic systems to document data and assist with equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• CA centers require phlebotomy certification or RN license per local rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process following SOPs.
• Set up and monitor donor procedures, and disconnect after collection.
• Educate donors about donor process, screening, nutrition, and center policies.
• Monitor donor reactions and assist or notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and donor data in the electronic system.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment and respond to alarms.
• Ensure a safe, clean work environment and comply with HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas and may require bilingual skills.
