Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process per SOPs.
• Set up donor, monitor and disconnect donors during pheresis.
• Educate donors on plasma products, screening, appointments, and center policies.
• Monitor donors for adverse events and notify staff when needed.
• Record donor data and incidents in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Troubleshoot equipment, perform calibrations, and resolve alarms as needed.
