Job summary

CSL Plasma collection center is seeking a technician to perform venipuncture, monitor the pheresis process, and ensure donor safety following SOPs and FDA guidelines. The role includes donor setup, monitoring, and data recording, with a focus on efficiency and quality.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 12 months in a medical setting, and appropriate phlebotomy certification or RN status where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent.
• State certified as Phlebotomy Technician I, OR an RN license may be required depending on local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture to begin the pheresis process.
• Monitor pheresis procedure and donor during collection.
• Ensure donor safety and product quality following SOPs and FDA guidelines.
• Record donor data accurately in the donor information system.
• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant work environment and handle equipment alarms and maintenance.
