Job summary

CSL Plasma in Omaha seeks an energetic donor-center associate to greet donors and verify eligibility for the plasma pheresis process. You will guide donors through the registration and screening steps, ensuring comfort and safety.

After training, you may educate donors about the screening tests, appointment system, and center policies, while keeping accurate records and maintaining confidentiality in a compliant, efficient environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify donor eligibility for plasma donation.
• Assist donors with screening procedures per SOPs, including health history and medical questions.
• Perform health screenings (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature) and finger-stick hematocrit/ protein tests.
• Educate donors on donation process and related information after training.
• Register and transfer donors as needed based on training and center needs.
• Answer phones and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for reactions during/after pheresis and alert staff as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, compliant work environment and adhere to HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain donor, personnel, and center confidentiality.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed; bilingual skills may be required.
