Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a donor center team member to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through screening procedures. You will support health history checks, answer questions, and help with data entry while adhering to SOPs and safety policies.

Responsibilities include maintaining donor confidentiality, assisting in education about donated plasma, and coordinating with staff on donor flow and inquiries. This role requires a high school diploma and customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service roles, preferably in medical or health provider environments.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and conduct registration to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist donors in screening procedures per SOPs, including health history, questions, and referrals to medical staff.
• Perform health screening tasks such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature; collect hematocrit and protein via finger stick.
• Educate donors about therapeutic products and center policies after training.
• Register and transfer donors as needed; answer calls and direct inquiries to staff.
• Monitor donor responses during/after pheresis and alert supervisors of issues.
• Record donor data accurately in electronic systems; follow HSE/OSHA policies and keep environments clean.
• Maintain donor confidentiality and assist cross-training as required; language skills may be needed.
