Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a donor services assistant at our plasma collection center. You will greet donors, guide them through registration, verify eligibility for plasma pheresis, and perform health screening tasks under SOPs.

You will report to the Assistant Center Manager. After training, you may educate donors on therapeutic products, assist in registering applicants, answer calls, document donor data, and uphold safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Will perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process including health history and basic questions
• Educate donors on the donation process, center policies and related information after training
• Register and transfer donors as needed for center operations
• Answer telephone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff
• Monitor donors during and after the pheresis process for adverse reactions
• Alert supervisors to donor flow issues and maintain donor data in the electronic management system
• Follow HSE/OSHA policies and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information
• May be cross-trained in other areas and bilingual skills may be required
