Job summary

CSL in Michigan seeks a Center Associate to greet donors and support the plasma pheresis process. You will verify donor information, assist with screening, and maintain accurate data entry while upholding SOPs and center policies.

Role involves health checks, donor education after training, and maintaining a safe, compliant center environment. The position is full-time and on-site at the Roseville, MI facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process in compliance with SOPs, including health history assessment and basic medical questions.
• Perform health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature and finger stick to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate new donors on therapeutic products from donated plasma after appropriate training.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed.
• Answer phone calls or route inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor safety during and after pheresis and notify staff of any issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic information system per SOPs.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor, personnel, and center information.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies and forms are stocked.
