Job summary

CSL's plasma collection center in Roseville, MI is seeking a front-line Donor Center Screener. You will greet donors, guide them through registration, and verify eligibility for pheresis, following SOPs.

Training provided; you will perform health screenings, assist with data entry, answer calls, and maintain a safe, confidential work environment. Clerical or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for pheresis.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process per SOPs, including health history and basic questions; perform health screening procedures.
• Educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products from donated plasma when trained.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed after appropriate training.
• Answer phones and direct callers to the appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor wellbeing during and after pheresis and notify staff of any reactions.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Maintain confidentiality of all donor, personnel and center information.
