Job summary

CSL in Pontiac, MI seeks a front-line donor services associate to greet donors at the plasma collection center and guide them through registration and screening for the plasma pheresis process.

Under SOPs, you will assist with screening, conduct basic health checks, perform finger sticks, and educate donors on therapeutic products from plasma while answering questions respectfully. This role supports center operations and emphasizes safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process per SOPs and perform health screening procedures.
• Educate donors on the screening process, tests, appointments, center policies, nutrition and other relevant information.
• Register and transfer donors based on training and center needs.
• Answer calls and route inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for reactions during or after pheresis and notify staff as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are available.
• Maintain donor, personnel and center confidentiality.
• Cross-train in other areas and support bilingual needs when required.
