Job summary

CSL in Flint, MI is seeking an on-site Donor Center Screener to greet donors and guide them through eligibility for plasma pheresis.

Under SOPs, you will assist with screening, take basic health measurements, perform finger-stick hematocrit and total protein tests, and answer donor questions.

This role emphasizes data entry, safety, confidentiality, cross-training, and potential bilingual communication as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ months experience in clerical or customer service, preferably in medical field.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability.
• Assist donors with the screening process per SOPs and medical questions.
• Perform health screenings: blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature; finger-stick for hematocrit and protein.
• Educate new donors on plasma products and screening tests after training.
• Register and transfer donors as needed for operations.
• Answer phone calls or route to appropriate staff.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality; comply with HSE/OSHA policies.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed; bilingual skills may be required.
