Job summary

CSL's plasma collection center in Michigan is seeking a front-desk donor services assistant responsible for greeting donors and guiding them through registration to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis. You will perform health screening steps, collect basic measurements, and reference SOPs while keeping donor information confidential and accurate.

Responsibilities include assisting donors through the screening process, answering questions, and maintaining a clean, compliant workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and assist with registration to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process per SOPs, including health history review, basic medical questions, and health screening tests such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature.
• Perform finger sticks to obtain samples for hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed to meet business needs and maintain confidentiality of donor information.
