You will greet donors, screen first-time and repeat donors, record vital signs, operate the Donor Information System, and help maintain accurate donor charts and compensation records while working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the full shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays required.
• Lift up to 5 lbs, occasional up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception; good hearing.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens; glove wear required.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and answer phones while ensuring donor safety.
• Screen donors and record vital signs and finger sticks.
• Use Donor Information System and prepare donor charts.
• Maintain accurate donor records and coordinate compensation.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes per procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
