Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Walker, MI is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener/phlebotomy support. You will greet donors, screen, draw blood, record vital signs, and use the donor information system. You’ll work evenings, weekends and holidays to keep center operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Lift up to 5 lbs., occasional up to 32 lbs., rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and hearing equipment from distance.
• 1+ years in customer/patient facing role helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and team safety.
• Screen donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and maintain records.
• Identify operational improvements and initiate changes per procedures.
• Work varied shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
