Job summary

BioLife, in partnership with Takeda, seeks a part‑time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support at our Michigan center. Most shifts are 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, with evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will greet donors, screen, record vitals, and coordinate donor compensation using the Donor Information System.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, answer phones, and ensure donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and implement changes per procedures.
• Support donors across shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
