Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Holland, MI is seeking a donor screener/phlebotomist to support plasma center operations. You will greet donors, screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs, and contribute to a safe, efficient center environment.

This part-time role requires a high school diploma, ability to stand, and availability for evenings, weekends and holidays. You will work with our Donor Information System and may participate in donor compensation, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• 1+ years minimum experience in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System; prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and initiate changes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
