Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a part-time donor screener/phlebotomist to support plasma center operations in Michigan. The role involves greeting donors, performing eligibility screening, phlebotomy, and maintaining donor records.

The position requires evening/weekend availability and the ability to work across a variety of shifts. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer-facing experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk/stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Able to lift up to 5 lbs, occasionally up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, hearing equipment from a distance.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger sticks.
• Prepare donor charts and maintain accurate donor records.
• Coordinate donor compensation and identify center process improvements.
• Work varied shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
