Job summary

CSL Vifor Plasma Center is seeking an on-site donor center associate to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through registration and health screening procedures. The role includes documenting donor data in the electronic system and ensuring safety and privacy compliance.

Under SOPs, you will assist with screening questions, vital signs, and basic math calculations, and you may educate donors on therapeutic products while answering questions professionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor eligibility.
• Assist donors with the screening process, including health history, medical questions, and referrals to medical staff when needed.
• Perform health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature and finger stick to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products and center policies, and answer donor questions timely and accurately.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed after training and operational demand.
• Answer phone calls or transfer inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
