Job summary

CSL Vifor plasma collection center seeks a donor screener to greet donors and guide them through registration for pheresis. You will verify donor suitability using SOPs and conduct initial screening steps, including health history review and basic medical questions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Will perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability.
• Assist donors in screening, including health history review and basic medical questions.
• Perform health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature.
• Support donor education about therapeutic products derived from plasma after training.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed based on training and center needs.
• Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
