Job summary

CSL Vifor Kenner plasma center is seeking a Donor Center Assistant responsible for greeting donors, guiding them through registration, and verifying donor eligibility for plasma pheresis.

Responsibilities include performing health screenings (BP, pulse, weight, temperature, finger stick hematocrit and protein), educating donors on procedures and center policies, recording data in the donor system, and coordinating with staff to maintain smooth flow and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three months experience in a clerical or customer service position, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify registration procedures for donor suitability.
• Conduct health screening procedures: blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature, and finger stick for hematocrit and protein.
• Educate donors on process, fees, policies, nutrition, and center procedures.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Coordinate donor flow with staff and assist with follow-up questions.
