Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening procedures per SOPs.
• Perform finger stick to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products after training.
• Answer donor questions timely, accurately and professionally.
• Register and transfer donors as needed after training.
• Answer calls or route inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor for donor reactions during/after pheresis and notify staff.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked work environment and ensure supplies are available.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies and promote safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
