Job summary

CSL plasma center is seeking an associate to greet donors, conduct initial screening, collect basic data and ensure donor safety. You will assist with registration, answer questions, and help maintain records and a compliant environment.

After training, you may educate donors about therapeutic products from plasma and center policies. The role may involve cross-training in other areas and requires attention to confidentiality and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three months experience in a clerical or customer service-related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for pheresis.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process, including health history, medical questions, vitals, and samples as needed.
• Educate new donors on therapeutic products from donated plasma and center policies after training.
• Register applicants and transfer donors based on training and center needs.
• Answer phone calls and route questions to appropriate staff when necessary.
• Monitor donors for reactions during or after pheresis and alert staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate donor data in the electronic information management system per SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies and forms are available; comply with HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required at the organization's discretion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
