CSL Plasma in Alabama is seeking a welcoming Registrar to support donor recruitment and ensure smooth screening and registration for the plasma pheresis process. You will assist with health histories, perform basic screenings, document donor data, and help educate donors about procedures and safety.

This role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork in a fast-paced center. Requires clerical experience, basic math, and good communication with donors and staff.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months in clerical or customer service role in medical setting preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsabilidades

• Greet donors and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist with screening per SOPs: health history, medical questions, refer to staff, and basic health screenings.
• Perform finger stick to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate donors on use of plasma-derived products and explain screening, tests, fees and center policies.
• Register/apply donors and transfer as trained to meet center needs.
• Answer calls or transfer to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Alert supervisor to donor flow issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Understand policies for hyperimmune programs if applicable.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment; ensure supplies; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
• Bilingual skills may be required per organizational needs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
