Job summary

CSL is seeking an on-site Donor Center Screener in Virginia. You will greet donors, guide them through registration and screening, and perform basic health checks to assess donor suitability for plasma pheresis.

Upon training, you may educate donors on therapeutic products and assist with donor registration and transfers. Strong customer service and clerical skills are essential for accurate data entry and ensuring donor safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability.
• Assist qualified donors in completing screening, including health history, basic medical questions, and health screening procedures (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature).
• Perform finger stick to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels as part of screening.
• Educate donors on therapeutic products from donated plasma after training and answer donor questions.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed based on training and center needs.
• Answer phones and route calls to appropriate staff.
