Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking qualified personnel to perform plasma collection procedures using pheresis technology, including venipuncture, donor setup, monitoring, and timely disconnect. The role requires strict adherence to SOPs, accurate data entry, and maintaining donor safety.

Responsibilities include educating donors on the process, monitoring for adverse events, and supporting equipment maintenance and incident documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• For Centers located in CA, state-certified Phlebotomy Technician I or California RN may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture to begin pheresis process and monitor the pheresis procedure.
• Set up donor, monitor donor during collection, and disconnect donor after procedure.
• Record donor data accurately in electronic systems per SOPs and maintain donor safety.
• Triage donor reactions and escalate as needed; troubleshoot equipment alarms and issues.
