Job summary

CSL is seeking qualified personnel to efficiently collect plasma from donors. The role covers venipuncture, pheresis monitoring, donor setup, and monitoring to ensure safety and smooth turnover.

You will document donor data and assist with equipment issues while maintaining a clean, compliant work environment. The position emphasizes safety, donor experience, and adherence to SOPs and FDA guidelines, with potential cross-training in related areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent.
• CA centers: Certified Phlebotomy Technician I or RN required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture to begin pheresis process.
• Monitor pheresis procedure and ensure donor safety and comfort.
• Set up donor, monitor during donation, and disconnect appropriately.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment, respond to alarms and issues.
• Educate donors about plasma donation process where applicable.
