Job summary

CSL Plasma center in the United States is seeking a donor plasma collection professional. You will perform venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process, adhering to SOPs and FDA guidelines to ensure donor safety and product quality.

Responsibilities include donor setup, monitoring, and disconnect, plus educating donors on the process, screening tests, appointments and policies. Maintain accurate donor data and a safe work environment, with potential cross-training as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12 months of experience in a medical/healthcare environment preferred.
• State-certified Phlebotomy Technician I, OR California RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for efficient plasma collection from donors via venipuncture and pheresis, following SOPs.
• Monitor pheresis process, donor setup, monitoring, and disconnect per SOPs and FDA guidelines.
• Educate donors about donation process, health screening, appointments, and policies.
• Monitor donor reactions and notify staff as needed, recording incidents in systems.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and ensure required supplies and forms are available.
• May cross-train in other areas to meet business needs.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment
