Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a donor pheresis technician to efficiently collect plasma from donors in a compliant environment. You will perform pheresis by venipuncture, monitor donor safety, and document incidents using PDA and electronic systems.

Responsibilities include educating new donors about the process, tracking machine alarms, and ensuring accurate donor data while following all SOPs and OSHA/HSE guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• External candidates must have a minimum of 6 months' experience as a phlebotomist; one year preferred.
• Minimum twelve (12) months of experience in a medical or health care environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pheresis procedure and plasma collection per SOPs.
• Perform venipuncture to initiate pheresis process per SOPs and FDA guidelines.
• Monitor vein performance and donor safety; adjust as needed for efficiency.
• Record incidents and donor data using the PDA and electronic system.
• Maintain clean work environment and ensure sufficient supplies and forms.
