Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience as a phlebotomist; one year preferred.
• Minimum twelve (12) months of experience in a medical or health care environment preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform pheresis procedure and plasma collection per SOPs.
• Venipuncture to begin pheresis process in compliance with FDA guidelines.
• Monitor donor vein performance and address issues to expedite donation and ensure safety.
• Record incidents and donor data in the electronic donor information system per SOPs.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and adhere to HSE/OSHA policies.
