Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a dedicated donor apheresis technician to perform pheresis procedures, donor setup and monitoring, and timely disconnects. The role requires adherence to SOPs and FDA guidelines to maintain donor safety and product quality.

You will educate donors on the screening tests, appointment system, fees, center policies, nutrition, and related information while recording data in the electronic donor information management system.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills and donor interaction
• Knowledge of donor screening processes and safety protocols
• Ability to follow SOPs and FDA guidelines with precision

Responsibilities

• Perform pheresis procedure including donor setup, monitoring and disconnect
• Conduct venipuncture to initiate pheresis following SOPs and FDA guidelines
• Monitor vein performance and adjust processes to optimize donation time and safety
• Educate donors on the donation process, tests, policies and nutrition
• Record incidents and donor data accurately in the management system
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot alarms and ensure a safe, clean work area
