Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsabilités

• Greeting donors at the plasma collection center and conducting registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process per SOPs, including health history review, basic medical questions, and health screening (BP, pulse, weight, temperature).
• Perform finger sticks to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma after training; explain screening, tests, appointment system, fees, policies, nutrition.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed after training and operational requirements.
• Answer telephone calls or route to appropriate staff; maintain alertness to donor reactions during/after pheresis.
