Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor medical role in Las Vegas to support automated pheresis procedures. The position involves evaluating donor suitability, administering immunizations, and providing urgent medical care within licensure requirements at the plasma center.

You will conduct donor interviews, review screening results, explain consent and immunization schedules, and maintain accurate donor records while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active licensure required in one of listed medical fields.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience.
• Experience in plasma or whole blood collection center preferred.
• Ability to assess heart and lung sounds and signs of drug use.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis.
• Administer and supervise approved immunizations.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff.
• Promote positive donor relations.
• Conduct confidential donor interviews to assess suitability.
• Review test results to determine ongoing donor suitability.
• Explain informed consent and immunization schedules to donors.
• Manage emergency procedures per SOPs and check kits for readiness.
• Record donor data accurately in the donor information system.
• Maintain safety and compliance with HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
