Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking staff to determine donor eligibility, collect plasma, and process products while maintaining compliance with SOPs. The role emphasizes donor safety, accuracy in documentation, and equipment operation in a donor center environment.

The position requires basic computer skills, English literacy, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends. Training will be provided to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and quality practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 months’ experience in clerical or customer service preferred.
• Certification or licensing may be required depending on state.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read and write in English.
• Willingness to work day, evening, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations to maintain production standards and facility compliance.
• Maintain high levels of customer service, donor confidentiality, and donor experience.
• Monitor donor conditions and perform eligibility assessments, including vitals and basic tests.
• Set up, prepare, and operate automated plasmapheresis equipment; respond to alarms and disconnect donors when done.
• Perform plasma collection and processing, including sample handling and shipment preparation.
• Monitor temperatures in freezers and refrigerators and document variances.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper stocking; handle biohazardous waste safely.
• Perform quality control on donor center equipment and keep accurate records.
• Provide oversight of product safety and quality by monitoring collection ratios and donor safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine quality checks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
