Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a hands-on donor center associate responsible for donor eligibility, plasma collection, and product processing while maintaining strict regulatory compliance and safety standards.

The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, high-quality donor service, accurate recordkeeping, and ongoing equipment QC. The job requires basic computer skills, English fluency, and the ability to work variable hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Three (3) months' experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
• Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills.
• Ability to speak, read, write English.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred (location specific).
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to travel up to 20% via airplane and vehicle (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations to maintain production standards.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and donor confidentiality.
• Monitor donor conditions and perform eligibility assessments.
• Set up and operate automated plasmapheresis equipment and respond to alarms.
• Perform plasma collection and processing with proper handling and shipments.
• Monitor temperatures and document variances.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper disposal of biohazardous waste.
• Maintain and perform quality control on donor center equipment.
• Maintain complete and accurate recordkeeping.
• Provide oversight of product safety and donor safety.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine QC.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
