Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center Technician I to support donor eligibility assessment, plasma collection, and product processing while ensuring compliance with all SOPs and regulations.

This role emphasizes patient care, equipment operation, quality control, and accurate recordkeeping to maintain donor safety and product quality. The position requires the ability to work day and evening hours, with potential for weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 months experience in clerical or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations to maintain production standards and facility compliance.
• Maintain high levels of customer service, donor confidentiality, and positive donor experience.
• Monitor donor conditions and perform eligibility assessments, including vitals, microhematocrit, total protein testing, and donor registration.
• Set up, prepare, and operate automated plasmapheresis equipment; respond to alarms and troubleshoot alerts.
• Perform plasma collection and processing following SOPs and transportation regulations.
