Job summary

CSL is seeking staff at the plasma collection center to greet donors, conduct registrations, and verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis. After training, you may educate donors on therapeutic products and assist with donor screening, health checks, and data entry.

You may also cross-train in other areas as needed, with bilingual skills possibly required. The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and compliance with SOPs, OSHA, and HSE policies, while maintaining a clean, well-stocked

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and complete registration to verify donor suitability.
• Assist with screening per SOPs, request medical staff when needed, and perform basic health checks.
• Educate donors on therapeutic products after training.
• Register and transfer donors as trained.
• Answer phones and direct calls.
• Monitor donors for reactions during/after pheresis and alert staff.
• Escalate donor flow issues to supervisor.
• Record donor data in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Understand policies for hyperimmune programs when applicable.
• Keep the work area clean and stocked; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center data.
• Cross-training in other areas may be required.
• Bilingual skills may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
