CSL Plasma is seeking staff at its donation center to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through registration and screening procedures. The role includes health screenings, data entry, and adherence to SOPs to ensure donor safety and accurate record keeping.

Responsibilities include donor education on products and policies, handling inquiries, and maintaining a compliant, clean work environment while safeguarding donor confidentiality. Some roles may require bilingual capabilities.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsabilidades

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and complete registration procedures to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist qualified donors in screening processes, including health history review and basic medical questions, and perform health screenings (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature) and finger stick hematocrit/protein testing.
• Educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products from donated plasma, explain the screening tests, appointment system, center policies, nutrition, and other pertinent information.
• Register or transfer donors as needed after training and according to center needs.
• Answer phones and direct callers to appropriate staff as needed.
• Monitor donors for adverse reactions during or after pheresis and notify staff if issues arise.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor to donor flow issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Understand policies related to hyperimmune programs at the center if applicable.
• Maintain a clean, efficient work environment and ensure supplies and forms are available; follow HSE and OSHA policies and promote safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required, at the organization’s discretion.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
