Job summary

Grifols in Midwest City, OK seeks an Operations Manager to support plasma collection center operations and ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations. You may act on behalf of the Center Manager in their absence and may run the center for days at a time, overseeing a center with over 50,000 liters.

You will collaborate with Training and Quality staff to meet goals, coach staff, monitor operations, and help drive efficiency while maintaining safety and high production standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Science, Business, Nursing, Finance, or related field.
• Typically requires 3+ years of related experience in clinical or general business experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical and/or cGMP regulated environment preferred.
• Experience with plasma or whole blood preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the donor center when the Center Manager is not present.
• Collaborates with Training and Quality staff to meet training and quality goals.
• Coaches and leads through effective feedback to employees through the Operations Supervisor(s).
• Monitor and evaluate operations; develop action plans with Center Manager to maximize center efficiency.
• Responsible for personnel functions including hiring, assignment, and direction of work, development and training, disciplinary actions and records.
