Job summary

Grifols is seeking an Operations Manager to lead donor center operations, ensuring donor safety, regulatory compliance, and achievement of production goals. You will oversee frontline staff, coordinate with Training and Quality, and drive improvements in efficiency and quality in a regulated plasma collection center.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in clinical or business settings, with supervisory experience preferred, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Developing command of leadership, organizational, customer service, interpersonal communication, and computer abilities.
• Ability to understand and assess FDA regulations.
• Ability to maintain adequate levels of plasma collection and adhere to quality standards.
• Ability to motivate staff to achieve established goals and standards.
• May be required to relocate

Responsibilities

• Oversee donor center operations when the Center Manager is not present.
• Collaborate with Training and Quality staff to meet training and quality goals.
• Coach and lead staff through effective feedback to employees through the Operations Supervisor(s).
• Monitor operations and develop action plans with the Center Manager to maximize efficiency and implement improvements.
• Hire, assign, train, discipline, and maintain all personnel records; manage payroll-related tasks.
• Assist in budget preparation and oversee facility to achieve production targets and cost targets.
• Delegate and monitor performance of operations supervisors and ensure schedules are managed.
• Direct and supervise employees and manage shift coverage and workload.
• Ensure capability to perform all tasks within the center and fill in as needed.
