Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Center Manager to serve as the general manager of a Plasma Collection Center in North America. You will lead daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to quality, safety and regulatory standards while achieving KPI targets.

You will oversee donor programs, training, inventory, and budget planning, with emphasis on compliance and continuous process improvements in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Science, Business, Nursing, Finance, or related field.
• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience in clinical or general business experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in a medical and/or cGMP regulated environment preferred.
• Experience with plasma or whole blood preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for meeting quarterly goals, staffing/hours per labor efficiency standards/cost per liter targets and KPI goals.
• Create appropriate organizational environment and value systems to stimulate morale and productivity.
• Operates the center and manages employees and operations to the highest standard of ethics and integrity.
• Manages staff to ensure training and quality goals are met and to implement operational changes and maximize center efficiency.
• Monitor and evaluate operations; develop action plans to maximize center efficiency and supervise improvements.
• Manage headcount to provide for staffing through production intervals and forecast needs.
• Direct personnel functions including hiring, assignment, training, disciplinary actions, and records.
• Provide strategic direction and planning.
• Oversee donor selection, plasma collection and records completion.
• Ensure adequate training of production employees and demonstrate tasks to meet standards.
• Maintain inventory and oversee ordering of supplies.
• Ensure center facilities and equipment are well-maintained.
• Oversee freezer management and plasma shipments; respond to alarms.
• Develop community relations to support donor recruitment.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP regulations.
