Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations in Columbus, GA. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable results under medical guidance.

You will operate under Center Manager guidance for operations and Center Physician guidance for medical issues, with EHS support for environmental health and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent including nursing program with state requirements.
• Licensed/certified in the state for EMT-B/A/I/P, LPN/LVN or RN.
• Current CPR and AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, medical history, physical exam, SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
