BioLife Plasma Services in Columbus, GA is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations and ensure donor safety under the Center Manager and Center Physician. The role involves determining donor eligibility, managing adverse events, reviewing lab results, and coordinating with Medical Affairs and EHS.

The candidate should hold state EMT or nursing licenses (EMT-B/A/I/P, LPN/LVN, RN) with CPR and AED certifications, and have at least two years of clinical experience.

Formación

• Must be licensed or certified in the responsible state (EMT-B/A/I/P, LPN/LVN, RN).
• CPR and AED certifications required.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
• Familiarity with plasma collection regulations & EHS guidance.
• Completion of required BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility including consent, medical history, and testing review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and respond per SOPs and standing orders.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unclear findings or guidance.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage occupational health incidents with EHS guidance.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized.
