Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations in Georgia. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety under Center Manager guidance.

This role requires state-licensed healthcare credentials and current CPR/AED certification. You will work closely with the Center Physician and Medical Affairs, ensuring compliance with regulations and center procedures while contributing to a safe, efficient donation

Qualifications

• Must hold state-appropriate licensure (EMT or nursing).
• Current CPR and AED certification required.
• Meet state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including consent, education, and medical history.
• Assess donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer complex findings to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Assist with occupational health/ER incident evaluations.
