Dow Chemical in Knoxville, TN is seeking an Operations Performance Engineer to enhance EH&S excellence, reliability, and efficiency across the emulsion/polymers facility. You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, and EH&S to optimize production and reduce costs while maintaining safety and quality.

The role emphasizes field presence, data-driven decision making, and leadership in drive for continuous improvement, with opportunities to develop technical and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering by Jan 2027 (chemical or mechanical preferred).
• Experience in chemical production facilities is preferred.
• U.S. work authorization is required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations to apply MET and optimize plant performance.
• Analyze logbooks, alarms, and KPI trends to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Lead troubleshooting and implement corrective actions during plant issues.
